Import Formalities :

As of the 1st of January 2006 the restricted goods and as of the 1st of July all commercial goods entering Switzerland will have to be declared to the Swiss Customs through the Electronically Imports Declaration (E-Dec).

Extra Charges:

These procedures have generated many investments and the Spedlogswiss recommends that the freight forwarders invoice extra charges. As of today ATM doesn't think it is necessary to invoice these charges unless the work was subcontracted.

Export Formalities:

It is possible that we have to ask our customers to have the goods and documents ready earlier so that we are able to guaranty a departure on a flight the next day. This is because we have to use the new Electronic Exports Declaration that has to be submitted to Customs up to 17H00.
